Most people should know that you can’t really catergorize bands properly. the ‘big 4′ grunge bands were all quite different but got given that title. likwise oasis and blur as britpop, the clash and the pistols as punk.

A really good band …
A really good band with several terrific songs, I was able to see Jale play live two or three times back then. I still have their cd’s, so it was great to see this again.

to me, the music …
to me, the music itself reminds me more of dinosaur jr, sonic youth, and the shoegze inspired music off slumberland records more than nirvana or anything grunge related. of course, they were on sub pop, so i can see the relation.
